FUE Hair Transplant
11 months post procedure
Got a hair transplant turned out really well happy with the results. My Doctor did a great job so hats off to him literally hats off I never wear hats anymore a former staple of my attire. I know terrible joke. Anyway hairloss always bothered me so I did something about it. Years of research and these are the results. Now time for the important part my hair loss regimen as hair transplants are not preventative for hairloss simply cosmetic. •Finasteride for 3 years •minoxidil off and on for 3 years • derma rolling 1 year • ketonconzole shampoo 2 years • routinely exercising 3-4 a week • Eating as healthy as I can while managing stress Only advice I can give If anyone is considering a transplant please stabilize hairloss before receiving one. I was on hairloss medications and doing everything I could to stabilize my hairloss for two years before receiving a transplant. Once the hair loss had stopped or slowed down to the point of not noticing Any further hairloss I received a transplant to fill in areas that were dead zones. As the follicles in those area were dead and no amount of drugs or other interventions would bring those back. Transplants have a place in hair restoration but it is not the end all be all cure for hair loss.
